Who Was There?

According to Moonalice legend, a member of our tribe deserves some credit for the remarkable fitness of Oregonians. Tonight’s poster by Alexandra Fischer depicts Tidewater Moonalice, who was the first to appreciate the health risks inherent in the indolent lifestyle of our tribe. Tidewater smoked like a chimney, but liked to dance. She also invented aerobics, which she called Heavy Breathing. In the costume of the day, it looked more like the Can Can than Jane Fonda. But she found that the dopamine rush after exercise enhanced the quality of a good hemp buzz. This revolutionary insight sparked a fitness craze that continues to this day.
