According to Moonalice legend, we are gathered here in Triples Alley after a two-year hiatus. The senior Deadheads among us experienced a hiatus in 1975. That one came with miniature LPs and newsletters, while this one came with face masks and rapid tests. Neither hiatus was easy, but the important thing is that we survived them and are back together.
Today’s poster by Chris Shaw depicts the Moonalice tribe’s patron saint of missing middle fingers, Jerry Garcia, all suited up and ready to kick some Dodger butt. Yesterday would have been Jerry’s 80th birthday and I know I speak for all of us when I say how much better the world is for Jerry’s contribution to it and how much happier we would be if he were still part of it.
Notes:
Pete Sears and Roger McNamee missed this show, due to covid. This was Roger's first missed show. Only Barry Sless has been at every Moonalice show.
Jason Crosby played keyboards. Bobby Vega played bass.
