According to Moonalice legend, today is the highest holy day in the tribal calendar. This is a particularly special 4/20 because we missed the last three years.
If the pandemic taught us many things, but especially about the importance of community, of human contact, and of looking out for each other. Together, we can solve any problem, get through any challenge. It is wonderful to be in the same place with all of you, our dear friends.
Tonight we have an amazing set of 23 posters created for this show. Those posters are free. There are also three amazing screen prints, by Jermaine Rogers, Chris Gallen, and Gary Houston. These prints are for sale.
We’re going to take a short break. While we are gone, the folks from Full Moon Farms will say hello. Kelly Harris and Jeff Idelson from the Haight Street Art Center will talk about the amazing exhibit of Herbie Greene’s photos on display now. And Tim McQuaid will raffle off some merchandise.
Note: We played this show to honor the memory of Oley Henrickson, the Pope of Dope.
